POS - Management

Introduction

This manual covers the management settings of the Recreatex POS module, including:

  • Creating and managing POS menus, sales zones (with or without table plans), and sales lists

  • Setting parameters

  • Using visualisations to retrieve and filter POS data

  • Generating comprehensive reports

Anmerkung

This manual focuses only on the management aspect of the POS module.

For operational use of the cash register, including article and ticket sales, facility bookings, activity and swimming lesson registrations, rentals, and other functionalities of Recreatex modules integrated into the POS, refer to the POS – Use manual.

Module-dependent settings and parameters

Depending on the functionality, certain POS configurations require settings and parameters to be defined within the corresponding Recreatex modules. You can find these settings and parameters explained in the respective module manuals:

  • Sales admin: Configure points of sale, including POS menu availability per employee and cash register-related functionalities. Proper configuration is essential, as each physical cash register, kiosk, ordering app, or webshop must be linked to a point of sale within Recreatex.

  • General

    • Employees: Manage employee data and cashier POS authorisations at the employee level.

    • Articles: Various settings at the article level affect cash register sales. For example, link the article to a sales list associated with a specific POS to make it available at that cash register, define whether customer details are required when selling a certain article, allow or restrict price modifications at the cash register and configure receipt-related options.

    • Management: Set up payment methods and define the layout of the POS shift closure screen.

  • Specific modules: Most Recreatex modules include functionalities that are also available at the POS cash register and may therefore require certain settings and parameters to be configured within the respective modules (e.g. Event planning, Facility bookings, Exhibitions, Seated ticketing, Rental, Registrations).
