Performance and Stability

The performance of TaskFlow 2.0 is 3 to 4 times faster than the previous version. Moreover, depending on the internet connectivity at certain instances, the performance can be 10 times faster than the previous version of the TaskFlow application.

With the new TaskFlow 2.0, crash instances have been reduced considerably. Thereby, providing an overall much smoother user experience compared to the previous version.

General

App configuration

The app configuration process has been changed. After installing the TaskFlow app from the Android PlayStore or the Apple App Store, simply scan the app configuration QR code to configure the app.

User validation

If the logged-in user is blocked from Recreatex or his/her password is changed from the Recreatex application, the user will automatically be logged out for security reasons.

New task status - Rejected

The logged-in user can decline a task assigned to him/her. The task can be booking-related or activity-related.

Employee permissions

From Recreatex, it is now possible to define the following permissions. Depending on the selection for the logged-in user, the infrastructure, customer information, and price of the booking and rentals will be displayed to the user.

Bookings

  • Update participant count: If enabled from Recreatex, the logged-in user can update the participant count for a booking. Depending on the updated count, the user can consult the updated price for the booking as well.

  • Display invoiced bookings: The bookings that have been paid for either online or offline will be marked with an invoiced icon 29.png.

Note

This feature of consulting participant extra info is supported for Recreatex version 8.2.1 and above.

  • Participant information: The TaskFlow user can now consult extra information about the participant such as allergies, medical info, and permission for photography/filming.

Tasks

  • Filter by task origin: It is now possible to filter tasks by the task origin.

Future release

The following items are excluded from the scope of the TaskFlow 2.0 release, which were a part of the previous version:

  • Task planner: The functionalities related to the Task planner are excluded from the scope of TaskFlow 2.0. Therefore, it is not possible to create or assign tasks in the current release.

  • Settings: Currently, limited settings are supported in TaskFlow 2.0.

  • App notifications: Notifications for instances such as changed task status, comments and more will be available in a future release.
